Evidently they stopped using single stage paints way before my bike was built in 1973 so it is one of two options for my green. The original Glasurit paint would have been paint code #074 Metallic green, base/clear or a #077 Nurburg Green metallic which is a three stage process. Either way there would have been white pin striping on top of the final coat of paint. So now all I have to so is figure out what color the bike actually is! Easy huh?
They pinstriped over the clear coat? You sure about that?
