wow, I am worried about the shock mounts. I thought they would be welded inside a hole drilled inside the side of the swing-arm. I know you are the engineery type and know where the force is applied and how it is safe and stuff. It just seems weird and risky to me. Maybe you can explain how welding two small cylinders to the bottom of the swing-arm is sturdy enough!
