I got home from a business trip to Fort Lauderdale this afternoon, so decided to hook up the lights, temoporarily since I will be adding a Fuzebox as soon as it comes in.
Clearance is about 1/2" at compression and full lock.
Need to move the wires away from the threads.
They look pretty good. The yellow running lights come on with the key, and the driving lights are on a switch connected to a relay so they go off with the key, but also can be turned off with a switch.
I also cleaned the bike a bit in anticipation of the new saddle bags that are more than half done so far.
