klatelm makes an interesting observation
all of
these guys above have in the past either won or competed at the top echelon in DAKAR, other major international cross country rallies or ISDE/Enduro competition
as pro or factory supported riders. Even RG (who did some mx as a kid I understand) has chosen ex-bike/baja racers as his Dakar navigator on repeated occassions; Kellon, Andy Grider, Johnny Campbell.
An interesting observation... I've often wondered how Von Zitz and Picard would have gone as drivers...?
