Kath woke up a little sore, but not as bad as she expected (or as bad as on this ride: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=665264 ).
We pulled our map, and plotted a rough route home.
Followed some power lines…
Took some real nice curves, and got here:
Then, to a Bushranger’s lookout:
Here’s his vantage where he would look for police officers…..
Continued towards home, getting real hot, and saw this river. I pulled over and asked Kath if she was keen for a dip, ‘yep’!
We looked silly, I only had undies and she only had shorts and her normal bra. Dip was lovely, and cooled us right down. Getting the boots on was a bit of fun with now-sandy feet, but it was well worth it. Oh yeah, we had no towel either!
After a couple of delightful drops, it was time to plot the last 50k home L
Went through the Beechworth pine forest area. It was very warm, so not many photos.
This sort of thing:
These sort of views:
Then, we were home – had to feed/water/walk/look after our good mate:
Well, that’s it! That’s how we enjoyed two of our holiday days. Hope you enjoyed it too.
