Hey Ben do not worry about language and news from México even climate in this season is warm in all the country exept the north
(Sonora, Chihuahua, Durango, etc), just ride safe.
I have rode solo and with other riders along the country and till now I have not had problems
Usually we are patients and friendly with Americans
I am going to ride with some friends to Tuxpan, Ver. next first week of febraury.
