I had planned on using only gps to make it easy and just enjoy the race but somehow(stupid me) managed to fry my gps the night before the race. I navigated like others have mentioned by heading south, following people/dust trails, and duct taping road book pages to my tank. Not ideal but it worked until my bike quit.
My advice would be to come as well prepared as you can afford with a good attitude.
Oh and I'm selling a new patent pending roadbook holder. Only $19.95 a piece!
You don't live in Columbus by chance do you? If so it was me that sent you a msg through Facebook? I'm driving out this year to the Baja Bound World HQ and then hooking up with them and thier sweet pkg deal.
