Hey, that's my old stomping grounds! I lived in Lander, WY for many years and my daughter lives in Laramie and folks live in Cheyenne, so I used to travel down routinely via the Snowy Range Road. I live in west-central Virginia now; my house is down there about where my helmet is. The mountain is ~ one mile west of the house and almost 2000 feet higher:
The mountains here aren't as big as the Rockies, but they are real mountains and offer lots of great riding!
