I have had to repair a few of these over the 30+ years of riding RTs. I first used some oddball inserts I picked up somewhere and just epoxied them in. They worked, but eventually failed again. Once I found the Dubro ones, and used epoxy and some marine fiberglass mat, they now seem to last a whole lot longer. On my present bike, I had the fairing off a few years ago and used a little grinder to rough up around each mount and epoxied and glass matted each one. I be they will out last me now.
