I'm no drag strip guy nor do I pretend to be, but isn't there better options to funnel monies towards a motor, than buying a new Vette and bolt on go fast parts? In my mind early Vettes were go straight cars, you can actually turn the C6.
Last hijack- After about 4 years of ownership I found 350 HP was not enough. (I did buy the car for the handling and have put about 55,000 miles on it.) I have an old thread on CF when I pulled the entire driveline and built it. The only things stock are the crank, block, and rods. I do not drag it at all because I find that boring. 720 HP is fun to play with in all circumstances, even the twisties. It's also fun to light 'em up at 65MPH when a Civic revs on me while going down the highway.
(BTW- I'm my own secret Santa.)
Back on track. I think that Ferrari you posted looks more like a Vette than the C7 does.
