nope. same steep as hell road. if I stopped in most places to take a pic I would have fallen all the way down to Yelapa
until that amazing overlook it really wasn't that steep and then cliff time. it was all new to me.
the real nice thing is that ride to the overlook is possible by most anyone for future ref.
