I bought 2 pair of LED auxiliary lights recently, and decided on permanent mounting locations on my Hepco-Becker crashbars. I've got two 20-deg spots to augment my high beams, and two 60-deg floods to use as daytime driving lights. I'll mount the 20s just above the beak and the 60s below and a bit further back.
I picked up some pre-fab mounting tabs at the welding shop, tacked 'em in place:
Welded 'em up, sprayed 'em satin black temporarily. I've been waiting for my lighting solution before I get the bars powder-coated, which I can now do soon.
Finally, attached everything with some nice looking, stainless allen-head machine screws:
Here's a photo of just the spots mounted.
I like the position of them. It was dark by the time I mounted the floods, so no photo yet. I'll include some photos of all four lights mounted along with some illumination output photos. So far, I'm happy with these lights as they are very good quality, were a good deal at $59 per light, and they are very bright.
