We would leap frog each other throughout most of the day. Each of us had the routed loaded in the our GPS units, so there was no need to eat each others dust or stick close together. You stopped when ever you had the urge too. Got back on at will. Makes for a nice relaxed, unhurried ride.

Now I must say, bike traffic on the WABDR was surprisingly busy. We are not used to this on our trips. But it was Labor Day weekend.
We stopped for lunch in Ardenvoir before we took on Moe Ridge. The Uptown Cafe getting an obvious economic boost from the WABCDR

All these riders however were riding the route south to north.
After lunch.
Ellensburg was are stop tonight. We had some ground to cover.
Again, spectacular riding.
