So, if you use the stock r90 or any non-fairing airhead turn signal stalks, they will be shorter than the r90s stalks. People say these don't work well with the fairing but I found that they were just short enough to flex the fairing on over them w/o dismantling anything. The turn signals will still mount and be sturdy, just don't tighten them too much or they'll pinch the end of the stalks.
If you have the r90s may have to take apart a few things.
