The exhaust is also easy. From 05 to 09 they are just a simple two bolt swap if just the muffler, and not much harder for a complete system swap.
The 2010+ is the same with the flapper valve adding a bit of complexity. Of course the 05-09 is not at all compatible with the 2010+ bikes.
For all exhaust swaps there is no need for a computer reprogram as the computer will self adjust. This is the main reason why total power is little effected by an exhaust swap on an R1200, though it might move the peak HP up or down the rev range.
