Very few Flat Biller "Bros" at KOH. "Good 'Ole Boys" abound. Thousands of Yeeps following each other around in conga lines from canyon to canyon at a blazing 10mph. Lots of garage built "crawlers" built by spectators. I think Burning Man is a pretty good comparison.
The comment about the comet is pretty uncalled for. I can't go this year, but I've been for the last 2 years. Last year I went with my son who at the time was a fabricator for Gen-Right, one of the main sponsors. It is a VERY entertaining event on a number of levels.
As far as 150k race cars and brilliance, the jury is still out on that one.
