I run a GPS mount that looks like the Arkon Box.
Works just fine for a Nuvi 255W
The only thing I can complain about is, you cant hear the speaker.
Even that is no biggie to solve if you wanted to.
It makes a handy place to keep my registration & insurance card in as well.
I can have them in my hand and practice my innocent look before the Policia get out of the car.
