The best I have done is 47 and most of the time it's in the 42-45 range. The bike is super comfy with the bar risers and the Seat Concept seat. I added an adjustable MRA screen that takes care of buffeting in most conditions. Overall, I am very happy with the bike.
I had a ninja 650, most times i got between 42 and 44, iirc, maybe a tank or two at 46 in 10k miles. Frankly, I thought the fuel economy sucked!
My current Honda Hawk gt 650 gets 52 mpg, and i am not nursing it
it has a 3.2 gallon tank, so theoretically I could go 140 to 150 on a tank, maybe better if i went easier. I have gotten as high as 55.
bikeless. And doing ok with it. For now.
