The pic of the emulsion tube I posted was out of a Honda lawnmower engine carb.
I think the one in the XT carb is not supposed to come out. That is why it's not in the parts diagram. If it did come out, you might need a new carb. Especially if it is broken and in two pieces. There is really no way to fix it. Bummer.
