Yo can heat up the sensor where the epoxy goop is and replace the common and cheap battery, however with the temps we get here I would need a good epoxy like the original to hold it back together.
I have heard you can fit a sensor, run the bike up to 40kmh and the new sensor is recognized by the computer but I have to do it myself to verify this. Until my tires wear out, it'll be my digital tire guage that gets the work out.
