fwiw: He chose not to clean and lube before its first outing.
My XDM-40 3.8 has fired 500 rounds without a failure.
That's a fine shooting pistol, especially in the 5.25.
A few months ago, a friend of mine bought the 5.25 in .40 cal.
He liked it so much that 2 days later he bought the 3.8 (sub compact) in .40 cal.
