Do you think the tracks (or most of them) would be possible for a "street-bike-pretending-to-be-enduro" such as V-Strom (with common farkles like crash bars and skid plate) or will its low clearance be a problem more often than not?
People have gone to Mongolia with V-Stroms :)
Most of the roads are decent gravel. If you keep the speed down there should be no problems with clearance. Few rough sections are short (less than 1-2 km each) so it shouldn't be a problem even if you hit some rocks with a skid plate (it happens to me every time when I try to speed up. KLE has low ground clearance...)
