Just thinking, wouldn't mind popping over for a ride next year but don't want to freight my bike over and rentals just seem too costly, has anyone done a buy back where you buy a bike from a shop and then they buy it back off you at the end of the trip? If so where did you get it from and how did it all work? Looking for ChCh really but any experience would be appreciated, I still think my best bet may be just to buy a cheap'ish bike (like a k model Beemer), ride it then sell it again at the end (2 weeks later) worse case scenario I could leave it at my parents place until it sells
