Hepco and Becker question. From everything I read the crash bars are less than a perfect fit when you go to put them on and require some manuvering to get them to align properly. I'm install my new set of engine bars and the right side bar has a problem hitting the right air deflector on the inside once everything is tight. Has anyone else had the same problem or do I need to just slot the holes a little more on the bars and make it work?
I have not test fit my guard. Been fixing body cracks and making tabs for TWO WEEKS!
Slight re-forming, using washers as spacers, and slotting holes could remedy your clearance issues.
McVick, I am intimate with the 1988 body! Point out which ones and could possibly cast some for you.
