On your's, do you see the whit dot just behind the "vent".
This spot lines up nicely with the two nipples coming off the tank on each side, one on each side.
I believe something should go where the white dot is and secure to the metal nipple on the front of the fuel tank.
If I am wrong, does any one know what the metal nipples ar on the front of the fuel tank?
