I'd research the KTM ADV a lot.
The LC4 will take out any recent dental work and is somewhat known for head gaskets. That being said I think it's pretty reliable and good for both on and offroad.
Just keep in mind many people HATE the vibration, and most of which aren't riding it every day, 100's of KM's.
DR650 is still a solid option but needs more work than the KTM to get it ready.
