Factory development on the Honda stopped in 2008, according to a recent interview with HRC chief Nakamoto. I'd be willing to bet development on the Suzuki did too, maybe even as early as 2006 or so. The Kawasaki is a more recent design and their racing program has benefited from Kawasaki's withdrawal from MotoGP. The Euro brands are newer designs with more factory support.
