Loosen the shock, work the swing arm up and down, up and down slightly turning the shock.
It will come down fast and go back up the same way.
It will fall out and smash your finger because you are not ready for that.
I think the pivot can stay?
You can adjust the spring tension with the hook on your axle wrench but you must remove the shock to do it.
