Is that something I could go to my local shop for? How do you go about adjusting bar height-risers-etc without buying a bunch of risers and swapping then out?

I was hoping to pick some brains at the DV Noob Rally and get some better insight into the process.

it's all trial and error. discussing it on the forum will get you ideas. best way is meet other riders and see their set up. if you get to sit on their bikes, you could get the feel what's comfortable for you. for most people, they change the stock set up. with over 200 bikes at the dvnr, you will be able to get some ideas, but can you wait?

ride your bike for now and start with a simple and inexpensive bar riser. the more you ride your bike, you'll figure out your needs.. farkling can be fun.
