I have just about firmed up my loop, and it looks like this:

Fly into Atlanta, GA
Macon, GA
Savannah, GA
Charleston, SC
Myrtle Beach, SC
Wilmington, NC
Raleigh, NC
Greensboro, NC
Boone, NC
Ashville, NC
Franklin, NC
Chattanooga, TN
Lynchburg, TN
Nashville, TN
Birmingham, AL
Fly out of Atlanta, GA

I'm thinking I should get an ADV sticker for the back of the rental car, just to see if I can get some salutes...
Lots of driving. Should be a good tour though. Be careful in Asheville, you might get confused and think you are back in Cali.
