Bike motorsports, and indeed bikes in general, seem today to be far more segregated. If a persons into Cruisers, I tend to find they stay mostly in the Cruiser world, and the same might be said of Sportsbikes, classics or any other subgenre. I used to go and see everything, and I remember my first bike meet was a Scrambling meeting at Brill...

This I think is a BBC recording of a Scramble at Brill.

Also, from

"NB: Readers may also be interested to know Brill scramble and track is featured on and off throughout the 1973 film "A Warm December" starring Sidney Poitier as an international rider...From memory I vaguely recollect the scramble being real and Sidney Poitier just stopping in the foreground removing his goggles etc strategically spattered with mud. It isn't a totally staged Hollywood scramble as you hear proper riders' names over the Tannoy!!"

International Movie Database reference at - Dr. Matt Younger and his daughter arrive for a month-long visit to London for dirt-bike racing and unexpectedly, a new romance for the widowed Dr. Younger.

+ Article starting page 48/Chapter 7 in this ebook refers to Brill?
