I cross the river back into Arizona and turn up Silver Creek Road from Bullhead City.
This was my first ride of Silver Creek Road. It was a fun gravel roller coaster...
To the top of Sitgreaves Pass and Route 66.
Historically, not everyone survived Route 66.
The bike was nearly blown over here by a very strong gust of wind, but luckily I was close enough at the time to save it.
After a short jaunt on the interstate I exit at Yucca, Arizona...
And ride the superfast and wide Alamo Road.
I had to keep slowing the KTM down as I thought 70 might be a little much.
Chicken Springs Road
I make the transition from the Mojave Desert and back into the Sonoran Desert,
and stopped for a hike through the weeds, mud, and river rocks to get a better view of the Burro Creek Bridge.
I had forgotten how far it was, so here I am hiking again in motorcycle pants and boots.
Not all of the mud was as dry.
The water levels kept me from getting any closer. The 18 wheeler adds a sense of scale, don't ya think?
When the highway gets boring...
I often play...

Thanks for following along on my little ride. I'm currently in the dreaming/planning stage for the next one.
