I picked up an acoustic back before Christmas. I hadn't been playing for a few years and wanted to get back into it, even if just a little. And it didn't take long to start thinking "I wish I had an electric" again. My acoustic is an "electric/acoustic", and I had been eager to try RockSmith on my 360, so I found a copy. But, it doesn't really work with my electric acoustic. The low "E" string won't pick up unless I pluck it like the fist of an angry god! So, I need an electric to play RockSmith!
I can't really afford or justify anything "nice" right now. And haven't had much luck finding something cheap that I like. But today I found a Washburn maverick BT-4 in decent condition, just needs new strings, fir about $80! I've been reading up on it a little on the usual sites. Seems some people really like them.
Anyone here got any experience with them?
