Sadly, I don't have any inside information about Honda's plans. I agree that the bike could benefit from a different choice of wheels. But Wes Siler seemed to do just fine on it in the dirt as equipped.
In the last scene of the last episode of the Cycle World Adventure Challenge, Bill LeVasseur did get up and walk off camera. Then he came back and we all sat around the fire for another couple of hours without a video crew watching. It was a great time.
