I took that class last year and came away with a lot of knowlege. I would say it is a must if you have an adventure bike and plan to take it off road. Prior to the class I did a ton of off road riding and some racing, I didnt think I would learn that much going into it. I had about 3k off road on my 800XC and thought I could get around pretty well. The lesson on how to ride in the sand was awesome. I couldn't believe how simple body positioning, clutch control and 2000rpm could get you thru anything. I have 10K+ of riding with a buddy of mine who happens to be one of the instructors. For years he bugged me to take the class and is one of the main reasons I bought an ADV bike. The students, instructors and staff are top notch. The food was great and the open bar was a nice plus. I hope to go back and take another class and or do the CV ride some day.
