This is the end.....or is it just the beginning???

and now a little something from an Argentinian band.....

After a goodnights sleep (not sure about Mike) we are on the way to Yuma today. Kind of sad to go, I could have kept going south but...... We follow the border on the Mexican side. New road, a little construction and dirt detours but went pretty fast.

We check out the bikes, fast and easy process, Ken buys some tequilla and gives me a bottle to take across as he would be over the limit. Gregg's bike is not ready to leave Mexico and lays down in protest

Don't see any smoke from the KTM, good thing we change oil, pistons and the crank every 300 miles. The knobs are about gone...

Could only fit my head in the photo, no bike

Mike peeled off to go find a public restroom or something. Gregg is around somewhere, didnt get a parting shot...

We got back to Burt's house and it was early enough to load up and hit the road back to Santa Barbara. Ken loaded up also to make it part way home. Quick goodbyes and another 390 miles in the truck. Only got lost a little in San Bernardino when I wasn't paying attention to the GPS.

Great trip, great country, super people, fantastic riding.
