I left the coast at 0'dark-thirty Thursday morning, trucking in made it a pretty uneventful trip, and I got there about 11:30. Inmate blaisew, AKA Kenneth Webb was gracious enough to share his campsite.
Home, Sweet Home for the weekend:
I started off the rally that afternoon riding with Browneye's group up to Osborne Cabin. It was a nice mixture of fast graded roads, some sand/gravel washes, and rocky trails. Good stuff to warm up on.
One of our group, Chad, was on a Vstrom. We waited at Osborne cabin for quite a while, and figured he had turned back. Gotta hand it to him. Chad persevered and made it all the way up there.
Of course, as soon as he got there, the call rang out to saddle up and head back down the hill.
jnyrav greets Chad:
Back at the campground, I filled up on Lonestar's chili and burgers, drank a few beers, and got ready for Friday's ride over Hunter Mountain and points beyond.
