If you're looking for the Bluebonnets, I think this is a bit too early in the year. I'm thinking another month or so. There were some flowers along Hwy 90 out in West Texas but very few. Spring hasn't sprung just yet.
My good friend in Austin told me today to hurry up before I miss em, the Bluebonnets that is. And your right I am going the long way around, Uvalde, Fredricksburg, Marble Falls, Austin, Temple and then on to Tyler. In my opinion some of the best parts of Texas in Springtime..
