Thanks, E; much appreciated. He sees his dissertion defense as a formality. He's in the final stretch of capping off his research and documenting as much as he can fit in, and putting together his presentation. He wants to do the finest job he can, yet he's not worried about what might happen. He's on top of his game and more versed than any of his panel members on his specialty. Nevertheless, it will be a relief for all of us once he has time to talk to us again!
