I am in the process of adding a 55W HID hi/lo and LED flood lights. I welded sturdy tabs on the front of my nerf bars for the flood lights. As with any electrical project, the most time consuming part is doing tidy wiring.

I provided power to both sets of lights directly from the 15A fused and switched connection used for lights. I wanted independent on/off for either light, and an indicator light for each light. While I was at it, I added another switch to dim the indicator lights.

The LEDs and 10A switches are from Highway Dirt Bikes. As received, the LEDs are painfully bright. I added another 1k resistor to dim it for the daytime setting. The nighttime setting uses a 22k resistor.

The switch over by the 12V outlet is my ABS disable.
