I can't imagine how Nicky feels seeing Vale up front after beating/outqualifying him several times last year. It must be heartbreaking. I'm sure he sees the writing on the wall hopefully Ducati will give him a competitive bike in WSBK next year he's earned it.
He's the fastest and most popular American in MotoGP and with at least 2 US rounds for the foreseeable future I think Dorna would not be happy for him to leave the series so, I think they'd tried to facilitate him finding a motogp seat. The only seat that appears suitable would be the 2nd Tech3 bike. I thought it was curious that NH didn't pick back up his redbull sponsorship with the departure of VR.
