Yes you can just squirt it from the right side, just behind the throttle bodies. Several pictures on the exact location in this or e main tiger thread. Best solution is to just pull your tank and service the stepper motor arm, meaning clean well and then lube with a non sticky lubricant. The problem is solved, and then it just becomes a regular service item when change the oil, check the air filter etc.
I had the service done and 2 days into the dirt same issue - I think its best to carry WD40 a small can on the bike if your riding dirt and learn where to hit it.
