Thanks! Yeah, I use 2% ceriated as well, but I'm also using an inverter, so it's what works best with my machine anyway.

I like the storage in the lids, innovative. What is a set of panniers running? Size is about 15x20 and say 10" wide.
And why not add a "tang" to the hinge pin so the lid will site level to be used as a table or such?
