This can be good, or bad, depending on your point of view -- if they wer artwork, they be attributed as "in the scholl of."
Back in the day, the great majority of "hot rods" were just stripped down old cars. Nothing fancy. And most spent much of their lives in gray primer. I owned some neat old cars, including a '40 Ford convertible and a '29 Ford roadster pickup, but I didn't have the money to do much with them. I had a wife, a baby, and a job that just about paid my expenses.
