There's a loctite product that I've used on the choke cover in place of a gasket that works great. It doesn't have the tendency to get sucked in like that tiny gasket likes to do. I can't remember the specific product, but it was transparent red and called "anaerobic gasket maker" or something like that. Maybe this stuff?
