On to Burgess Falls State Park

As you might guess, the principle feature is....

Water falls. And today, a whole lotta falling going on.

And what would there be on the way? Rain

3/4 mi of pretty muddy, slippery, trail to the big falls

Upper Falls

Water rolling in from all directions

Middle Falls - this water is moving right along and making a lot of noise

Wife and large tree. Note the special hiking Crocs

The Big Falls

Right at the bottom of where the water is landing is a favorite summer swimming hole. Not quite summer yet.

The spray is flowing rapidly down stream and slowly rising over the bluffs. Sorta like Niagara Falls is all the time. It is a nice, small park. The falls are always nice, rarely ever this much volume. Makes a nice, cool summertime destination.
