You can ride up towards farlow gap but it dead ends. after cove creek campground going towards the fish hatchery it turns to asphalt. 475 b offers a nice ride around looking glass on gravel. if you ride 276 towads the parkway and take 1206/yellow gap road, this will take you to n mills river campground. intersecting the campground is fs5000 or wash creek which, as previously mentioned will take you up to the parkway on the north side of mt pisgah. These are all gravel but should be pretty quick with all the rain we've had.
