Well Ill be heading out again on Saturday for the night this time just for fun. The plan is to try get up through Ellis Narrows. Last week when we tried to get up there the high tide had cut the sea ice away and had made it thin around the edges. The reason it is like this is its a thin gap between land and as the tid rises and falls it forces it way through the gap. Looks rather cool though.
Ill try get some pictures of the frozen lake up near the plateau.
As the days are getting shorter now, we are down to 5 hours of light a day the weather has started to get worse. Strong winds and heavier snow dumps.
I was walking up to the workshop and took a small video of the experience.
