I've gone over both carburetors with a fine-toothed comb several times, made sure that all the passages were free and clear, changed all the gaskets and other rubber components... Still, I have an intermittent problem of it leaning out. I'm almost to the point of finding a different primary carburetor. (If anyone might have one collecting dust?)
All of the jetting is stock, and shouldn't be the source of an intermittent problem. The thing that I keep coming back to is a float sticking closed.
Did you clean out the emulsion tubes under the main jets. They collect grit and don't atomize properly.
