. I'm getting more excited about this trip every day. Only 6 weeks to go.
You are right. That bike was pretty new then, but after 40,000 odd miles (including CDT, TAT, AK etc) it was time to send it to a new home
. I loved that bike and ended up with a almost new 990R last year - which I promptly proceeded to introduce to one of the local deer population at 70mph near Moab
. All is well now though.

I sooo do remember you! Amazing that we can reconnect through the asylum herein. We visited roadside. Your bike was new then, as I recall. A beater by now, I'll guess. Ha ha ha. I'm still on the same ol' KLR.
